Lesão renal aguda (LRA) é definida como a perda rápida da função renal de filtração e está presente em diversos pacientes que procuram atendimento em unidades de emergência. The different etiologies and multiple classifications of severity represent a challenging situation to the emergencist that must have thorough knowledge of the initial approach to the disease.
